In a dark week of violent, gut-wrenching news of hatred, I looked for some evidence of human artistry, whimsy, and creativity.  Behold, the hand-carved Pumpkin Statue of Liberty at The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze in Westchester.  Hard not to smile when you see it in the darkness.
